Coaching Sessions
“From Heartbreak to Happiness”® coaching is a 9 step program that combines cognitive healing processes with proven holistic methods of healing grief. This balance provides our clients who are seeking a spiritual and real world ways of mind and body healing to go “From Heartbreak to Happiness”®
Coaching is done over the phone at a previously scheduled time. The process starts with a short meditation. First session is usually designed for us to know more about where you are with the amount of happiness and stress levels that you are experiencing. “We cannot get to where we want to be unless we know where we are starting from.”
The first part of Grief Coaching discusses the thoughts that cause suffering; you will be guided to notice the source (A limiting belief or a painful thought) for a few moments and then you will be supported intuitively by your coach to move forward and release the source using one of our most effective tools designed for this purpose. By healing the source of your painful thought, you can alleviate the pain of it and replace it with a positive thought or action. I love being a witness to the release that my clients feel and experience in about 30-45 minutes.

Moving Beyond the Loss of Your Child
The grief seems endless. It rolls over you in waves of sadness, depression, guilt, fear, or anger. The depth of emotion creates chaos and confusion around you. You don’t know how you can be there for your family. Your health and your working life suffer. That huge weight you’re dragging behind you can make it difficult to get out of bed because the day ahead looks empty and hopeless without your beloved child. It’s hard to even keep breathing. What used to be normal doesn’t exist anymore.
After a while you think you’re starting to get over it. And then you see or hear something that triggers a memory of your child, you break down in tears and you’re back on the roller coaster of despair.
Because you’re still a mother in spite of your loss. What you’re going through is a normal healthy response to a devastating loss. But it can be hard to even talk about it because no one understands how to respond to your pain. Or friends trot out clichés like “time heals all wounds” or” he’s in a better place” that aren’t helpful at all.
Zoya Bokhoor-Mills also lost a child. She knows what it’s like to live with the depths of pain and the feeling that nothing can help - but grief coaching changed her life.
In Zoya’s Words: There was nothing left in life for me.
“After I lost my only son, I felt there was nothing left in life for me. I realized that in order to go on I needed a new outlook. I was a different person before the loss of my son. Everything that I do and who I am now are because of my loss. My connection with my son has made it possible for me to live this life with gratitude, positive outlook and most of all, love.”
It was a natural next step for her to train as a grief coach so she could help other mothers who’ve lost a child. She customizes a structured process to your individual needs and combines it with coaching skills and Reiki energy healing to help you heal body, mind, emotions, and spirit.

Process of forgiveness
A big part of grief that keeps us stuck is the fact that we are not willing to forgive, carrying resentment and blame either towards the person who has left us or towards ourselves. This is known as survivor’s guilt. One of the tools that is used to help people release this part of their grief is through an effective guided writing process. Normally our clients feel the ease of tension at the end of this process. They find a different level of true forgiveness for themselves or anyone else--either alive or dead. And letting go of this part of their grief allows for an opening to a wonderful new world for them.
How to live a balanced life
Having balance in our day-to-day living plays an important role in creating a healthy and happy person. We assign 1 or 2 sessions of our coaching calls to examine areas in which your life might be out of balance.
This practice will help you create new habits, ideas and actions that will bring all areas of life into balance so you can feel better about yourself and accomplish your goals faster and easier.
What will the future look like?
Now that you have healed the grief and created balance in your daily life, you need a future full of promises to live into.
This brings us to the final part of our coaching program. This part consists of discovering your Core Strengths and setting goals that match your strengths.
This program has been designed to fit each individual client’s personality and needs.
